This has been an eventful Masonic year for our lodge. We have a new roof. Our kitchen has been brought up to code with new appliances, wiring, & plumbing upgrades. An alarm system was installed. The parking lot has been sealed & repainted. A lot of the physical needs have been attended to, as well as an attitude change, or a refocusing of our view toward the future of our lodge and its viability in our community. I cannot take credit for any of what we have accomplished. We do this together. Many thanks are due many Brothers.
First I want to thank Bruce Dalton for his support, input, and organizational skills. thanks to Steve Shipe for expanding our lodge's influence and exposure further into our community. Walie Francks worked hard on our charitable work reports to the Grand Lodge, as well as assisting with candidate education. I also appreciate the efforts of Tom Spencer with the ALL Program, and organizing the Table Lodge. Thanks to Stan & Linda Bullard on the successful completion of the dinner for our First Responders. Also thanks to John Lane McCall for the most successful Gift of Life Blood Drive; (Live Long & Prosper).
Brother John Thomas has my thanks for his work on the alarm system and for his support behind the scenes at many functions. Also thanks to Terry Christopher & Jeff Perry for their support. Dan Dawkins ,& his team, continues to work hard also earns my gratitude, at least for keeping us laughing. Thanks also to David Monzingo & Don Riney (and their wives) for all the good food. To Ray Bohmer, Paul Pinkerton, & Lee Abercrombie - thanks for your hard work with our public schools & the Scholarship Program.
The Roof Restoration Committee: Rodney Pace, Tom Foster, Mike Bishop, Corey Calloway, and Don Mobley worked hard and long to get the right people, the right financing, and the right oversight to secure our building. Their work, along with our Finance Committee Chairman Bill Shipe, deserves our sincere thanks. Also on the committee was Secretary Bob Collier. He deserves my thanks as well. He keeps the lodge on time and up to date. If you see him, tell him so, for his long service to our lodge.
I know I have forgotten to mention someone by name, but it was not purposeful. What has been accomplished, we have done together. Let us continue to work together to support our lodge & the new Worshipful Master. Again thanks to all of you.
Fraternally,
Richard Gaddis
Worshipful Master
