Brethren,

One of main objectives this year is to increase community awareness of the Masonic Fraternity and maximize our involvement. The Teacher of Excellence Program is a great example of this. Brother John Gause and his committee are to be commended on their hard work in making this program a success. Six elementary teach- ers were honored. The Public Education committee did a great job on involving area mer- chants in providing gifts to our honorees. Thank you to all the Brothers who took time to attend this program.

The next community event will be our Temple Open House. March 31. The Temple will be opened for the public from 800am to 4:00pm. . Each Masonic Organization will have an oppor- tunity to present a public ceremony and provide an overview of their organization to the public. We will conduct a blood drive to benefit the Scottish Rite Hospital. Two bloodmobiles will be on hand. All Bodies are invited to participate in a yard sale to benefit our Scholarship funds. A chili cook-off is being held, as is a car show. Shrine clowns and clownettes will also be present. This is a great time to invite anyone who is curious about the mysteries of Free Masonry to come see our Temple.

Review the Trestle Board for more opportunities of love and labor, remembering that many hands will lighten our burdens! Brethren, I look forward to seeing you at these opportunities!

Fraternally,
Bruce Dalton

Worshipful Master
